With thousands of cat owners annually struggling with their destructive cats during the holiday season, a cat food brand has created a cat-proof Christmas tree!

Fancy Feast, a sub-brand of Purina, unveiled a special Christmas tree for cats, as they are known for their unwarranted hatred of festive decorations.

In a video posted on the brand’s social media, they explained that they designed a version of the holiday decoration with scratching posts as the trunk, high spots for cats to sit and observe, and ornaments in the form of toys for felines.

The FeastiviTREE is part of the brand’s 40th-anniversary celebrations. “Cats love Christmas trees because they are full of all their favorite things,” said Dr. Annie Valuska, Purina’s Chief Behaviorist, in a statement.

“Visually interesting objects, the size of a mouse, with lots of movement hanging, high hideaways, and they are generally located in the heart of homes and family activities. The FeastiviTREE takes all the things cats love about a traditional Christmas tree and makes it cat-friendly to cater to their needs.”

The FeastiviTREE will be given to three lucky cat owners. Until December 3, pet owners can enter for a chance to win one of these festive and cat-friendly creations at www.feastivities.com.
